I came to the ER after post op bleeding and pain from ear surgery in Philadelphia that morning. After being triaged and then called back up, the person who showed me to an exam room took off very quickly, never offering a wheelchair. I followed as best I could but was in pain and still feeling the after effects of general anesthesia. She curtly told me to have a seat and someone woukd be in right away. My son and I were down from NY for his travel baseball tournament and he had suffered a complete shoulder dislocation. The ambo took him to the ER and he was seen my Dr Ketels and nurse Florence. My son’s only 15 and they made him feel so much better. Dr Ketels showed reset it and showed how to do it ourselves if it were to ever happen again. Great hospital and great people.

The ER! Had to take a guy here, not exactly sure why he would shoot himself in the finger! Haha pretty dumb thing to do in my opinion. But anyways I was expecting a waiting room full of screaming wounded patients, people with chunks of skin missing and limbs hanging by a single sinew. It wasn’t that bad tho, they have a couple of waiting rooms and enough chairs that you don’t need to sit next to the bloody sweaty guy who keeps on groaning every third minute! Nothing bad here. Went in on a Sunday in alot of pain from a shoulder issue and was taken back to a room in less than 2hrs. The nurses and staff were very considerate. Got me the medication I needed, made sure we were doing well and sent us out the door much better off than when we came.
