The ER! Had to take a guy here, not exactly sure why he would shoot himself in the finger! Haha pretty dumb thing to do in my opinion. But anyways I was expecting a waiting room full of screaming wounded patients, people with chunks of skin missing and limbs hanging by a single sinew. Nothing bad here. Went in on a Sunday in alot of pain from a shoulder issue and was taken back to a room in less than 2hrs. The nurses and staff were very considerate. Got me the medication I needed, made sure we were doing well and sent us out the door much better off than when we came.
Modern, clean, super efficient, professional, busy, emergency services. Multiple specialty providers to provide trauma care services.
There's a reason why Lancaster General Hospital Emergency Room has such bad reviews online. Here's more evidence from my own experience supporting these negative reviews are justified: I came in due to severe migraines from the flu. I had requested that I be prescribed something to address the pain which was preventing me from sleeping and functioning. I brought my brother to the emergency room because he was experiencing severe stomach pain. Unfortunately, the care we received was very disappointing. The doctors didn’t provide any real help — they didn’t even give him any pain relief. After waiting for about three hours, he was discharged despite the fact that his condition had not improved at all.
