I absolutely LOVE Dr. Chiota-McCollum!!! I am 43 and has a stroke in December with a hospital stay. My first neuro at another hospital and practice was horrible and put a bad taste in my mouth, but Dr. Chiota-McCollum makes me feel seen and heard. She is never ever in a rush, you know she is FULLY focused on you and your care as a patient. If she doesn't know something she is honest and tells you ,but then finds an answer or a provider that can assist me. First off - if you want to be truly heard, advocated for, and diagnosed with an open mind… Do not see Dr. Martin or Dr. Solama . Waited four months for my neurologist appointment and within five minutes and not even evaluating me physically, he was already smiling condescendingly in my face, talking over me, and telling me I have nothing wrong with me that is neurological. My experience with Dr. Crowell was very disappointing. During my appointment, she laughed and smirked at my concerns, which made me feel dismissed. I came in to discuss possible CranioCervical Instability after multiple other doctors and therapists suggested it as a possibility because I am suffering stroke-like symptoms whenever I go to sleep. Instead of evaluating that, she told me my symptoms were purely musculoskeletal. I left the appointment feeling unheard and treated unkindly. I have a unique condition, Ehlers Danlos ... read more
