Dr Weiland has taken care of our aged aunt for 7 years, until her death earlier this week. She had hospice for two weeks before passing. The hospice nurses had a terrible time getting Dr W to approve her end of life medications. She suffered so much. The nursing home and hospice nurses all expressed frustration with his lack of timely response. Finally a nurse practitioner came to the rescue. Our aunt died peacefully, thanks to all the nurses. While my provider here is Daniel Schmitt, P.A., I have also had excellent and timely visits with other doctors that I have encountered in this practice. And, I can honestly say that I have rarely had such a caring, and astute provider as Daniel Schmitt. His patience is legendary as well (my whole family sees Daniel). Dr. Daniel Schmitt and this office is amazing. Prompt communication and always takes the time to listen to you and never rushes an appointment. As a family of 5 we needed a doctor like this and we are so grateful for him and the people that work there. Do not hesitate they are the very best.
I have been going to this office for about 20 years. Have moved to Deleware but worth the 3 hours driving each way to see Dr. Schmitt. Can't say enough, caring, compassionate and thorough.
