I work at the Shady Maple Bakery stand. I enjoy working there and meeting all the customers, and getting to know the "regulars". The surprises of family and grandchildren popping in to say "hi" is an added blessing�. And yes, it does get very HOT in the summer and quite cold in the winter months.
Love this market! Plenty of stands with fresh vegetables and fruit. Many local choices.
It's a great place to buy local fresh food. The vendors are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate you. It's nice to go to a place that actually appreciates your patrionage.
Only miss it when out of town And then I really miss it!

Market is a great place to get local Lancaster county produce. Lots of stands with a great variety of products from organic vegetables, local dairies, bakeries, flowers, and some foreign flair.
Awesome sandwiches ,great prices on produce, a lovely place to go!
