I required transport from Perth hospital to Smiths Falls for a test. I had a fever, an IV, was vomiting and had no shoes or glasses. After my test, I was told I could take a taxi back or find my own way home as the ambulance was needed elsewhere. I called my husband, who was ill, was wheeled to the emergency entrance and left. I had to be sick again and felt I had no choice but to go outside. ( This happened in May). There was the ambulance and attendants who brought me.
