I'm convinced Lam's Garden has the best Chinese food in the midwest. Let me paint you a picture: You drive up, it looks rundown, and you just know this is going to be the best Chinese food of your life. The fried rice is never a mildly flavored mush, like it can be in so many other places. It's rice and green onions and egg and protein and a lot of flavor. First time, and only tried the wanton. They tasted different (like ground chicken and green onion mix), yet delicious. Portions were good for the price. I'll likely go back to try more items. Update:7/15/26 I've been back several times and it is very tasty. Some of dishes remind me of flavors from my childhood .
I’ve been eating here since I was a kid. I’ve been skeptical after hearing all the bad lately but, decided to try anyway. We’ve been back multiple times since “the takeover” 😂 Still great flavors and the best rice around! Thank you to the owners and staff for keeping one of my hometown’s staples alive!!!
