Had our family reunion at the Lamplighter Inn. Cabins have had updates, but still maintain a rustic charm. Air conditioning has been updated and we actually got cold a couple of humid nights! Location is beautiful and pool was a great way to relax with a great view! Service was top notch and everyone was so helpful and friendly! Great, family friendly, affordable trip!
Just came off an amazing family reunion weekend at the Lamplighter resort- Beautiful Lake front views from the pool - super clean two bedroom cabins with full kitchens and the absolute best air conditioning units. The pool couldn’t have been more perfect to provide entertainment for our large group aged from 10 month olds to 85 year olds - The new Covered pavilion provided for rain shower escapes from the pool as well as late night family gatherings. We had an amazing stay at Lamplighter! The location is perfect, with so many great bars and restaurants just a short drive away. The pool overlooking the lake was definitely a highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for an affordable, family-friendly getaway, Lamplighter is the perfect choice!
We had an amazing time at Lamplighter. Perfect place for a family reunion. The rooms were comfortable & the AC units in each bedroom made for an even more comfortable stay. The view outside each cabin was gorgeous & the pool was very nice as well. Highly recommend. Great staff!!!
We bid on a stay here from a charity auction. The young woman that checked us in said we had the most updated cabin. That was a joke. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. However the bedroom was so small that when I got up in the night to use the bathroom, there was virtually no room to walk. I had to hold onto the wall and the bed to get out.
