Front door got kicked in and windows were broken by morning, some people broke in and threatened me to give the pin to my suitcase with knives on them. Additionally, the next morning when I was finally released I went outside and found that my car was broken into and stripped for parts (lacked wheels and taillights and windscreen wipers), I was genuinely scared for my life I had to walk to the bus stop to go and take the train in nothing but my boxers, they took my wallet with cash. Omg I walked into a nightmare. Graffiti all over the doors , the doors were kicked in and you could see daylight through the cracks . everything in the room was really sticky and dirty . I even found cigarette ash on the bed side table . I stayed for a hour to afraid to lay back on the bed because it's looked not clean .before I left icontacted management, they said that was the only room left on the bottom floor and sorry it hadn't been cleaned . We booked this place because it looked clean, welcoming and cosy in their WotIf profile. When we arrived, it was anything but. They tried to give us a room that was in the middle of renovation, before shoving us in a room that was filthy. Curtains torn, carpets threadbare and damaged, walls dirty and lacking in paint. Surfaces not cleaned, fridge not working. Food on the walls in the bathroom. The permanent neighbours were noisy until early morning.
