Omg I walked into a nightmare. Graffiti all over the doors , the doors were kicked in and you could see daylight through the cracks . everything in the room was really sticky and dirty . I even found cigarette ash on the bed side table . I stayed for a hour to afraid to lay back on the bed because it's looked not clean .before I left icontacted management, they said that was the only room left on the bottom floor and sorry it hadn't been cleaned . We booked this place because it looked clean, welcoming and cosy in their WotIf profile. When we arrived, it was anything but. They tried to give us a room that was in the middle of renovation, before shoving us in a room that was filthy. Curtains torn, carpets threadbare and damaged, walls dirty and lacking in paint. Surfaces not cleaned, fridge not working. Food on the walls in the bathroom. The permanent neighbours were noisy until early morning. Stayed two nights at this motel. The motel rooms certainly lacked finish and need a little bit of TLC. It needs a toilet roll holder, a paint job and door safety and a little bit noisy because the walls were plaster board. but the beds and the floor were very clean. It was suitable for a place to stay for just for a bed to sleep in overnight with not much traffic noice from the Dandenong road. Electrical equipment all worked.
