I brought my 16 year old chihuahua mix into the emergency department for admission per advice from the primary veterinarian to treat acute on chronic kidney failure and to receive consultation from internal medicine. I am beyond grateful as my dog recovered, miraculously from stage four to stage one kidney disease. I do have to mention that the initial encounter with emergency doctor was a bit blunt as she pretty much told me to prepare for my dog’s death. Great experience at Lafayette Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Clifton is wonderful. She is very thorough and asked a lot of questions to pinpoint our canines concerns. The support staff was great as well. Very welcoming and a clean environment. The communication from the office is fast too and I really appreciate that! Thank you LVH and Dr. Clifton! Highly recommend.
