Wish you could give a rating of ZERO! This "doctor" is by far the worst ER doctor my family has ever dealt with. He is extremely rude, crude, unknowledgeable, and just outright nasty. When he talks to you, he does it in a demeaning way. There is no eye contact, he looks at the ceiling?! He has zero people skills, lacks empathy, and speaks to you like you're wasting his time. Stay away from St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ if he is the ER doctor!

On May 13 my 53 yr old husband was transported via ambulance to St Clares Denville ER. He was treated by Lamont Mitchell the doctor in the ER that evening. Dr Mitchell was insensitive and had ZERO compassion and empathy. When he came to talk to myself and my daughter, he said to me, ‘so what happened today?’. I said absolutely nothing. It was no surprise to see other patients share the same NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. Avoid any place where he practices including the Cliffside park urgent care. This individual has to be the rudest, most unprofessional health care provider in the tri state area.

If I could give 0 stars I would. So unprofessional, demeaning and blatantly rude. When asked if I was allergic to any medications, I provided an answer and his response was “I don’t believe that one bit”. The nursing staff and front desk were great (welcoming, caring and personable) and many appointments were available, but for the sole purpose of this doctor, I will never return. If he’s your provider, do yourself a favor and ask to be seen by someone else.
