Sat and waited for 3 hours in pain tonight….no shortage of staff as there was constant visting … when I ask how much longer …. They had no answer …. When I said I might as well go to pharmacy to try get something the nurse just laughed at me…. This is another reason why we need to cut funding to hospitals …. Lots of time for them to visit and zero compassion.

I got a call last month for surgery scheduled May 13, for preparing the surgery day, I have to ask some time off from work, there were multiple phone calls or appointments between my specialist, my family doctor even the hospital surgery scheduling. The lab is very slow. You are the only one in the waiting room and all you do is wait, wait, wait. Then someone else without an appointment gets taken ahead of you. They never ask who arrived first.
