Cute little store with a variety of cheeses. I ordered a soft serve cone and it was the freshest cone I’ve ever had. I think it’s because the dairy store goes through so many cones a month (more than 23,000 in June!) that their stock is so fresh. Found some flavored cheese curds and a clothing item. Service was friendly and fast. Will always stop in here while in town!
Dairy Champion?? Adding Carrageenan and "fillers" (guar gum, xanthan gum..does anyone know what this is....?) to your heavy whipping cream is NOT what is expected of a state dairy champion. Bought heavy cream from Sassy Cow (located in Madison, WI) who doesn't add these ingredients in their cream and passes down a lower cost to consumers. Lamers pumpkin eggnog has propylene glycol in it (which is antifreeze!) I try to support local, but I can't justify it if the ingredients are cheap and created in lab by food scientists. Love it! Bought chocolate milk and chocolate milk ice cream. Both are yummy!
Best Ice Cream around!!! So good! We come here at least once a week for our tasty treat! Fun outings with the grandkids! WE LOVE LAMERS!!!
