Secluded old school BnB on the river. Peaceful and relaxing place to stay aclosr to Gruene but way from the busyness.

While the property is rice, great area, wonderful views, the room had a problem. We stayed in Quilly's room and at first we thought it was amazing........until we turned the A/C on to go to sleep. It would make the most obnoxious rattling about every 10 minutes. Not just a little rattle, very, very loud. We were able to fall asleep about 2:30 AM after just becoming so used to it. We went here for the first time and we were very disappointed. The location is great. The overall place is very run down and dirty. The pool had a lot of debri in it. The chairs and overall outside of the the building could use a good cleaning. The was no cable just a few free channels. I never could hook up to the wi-fi. The small frig was not cold at all. The room was small and run down. Their was no personal service at all. I got the impression the owners spent very little time at or on this place. Wich is ashame because ... read more
