The only locals bar in Cimmarron, NM. Down to earth feel in an eclectic atmosphere, sitting at a bar with bullet holes in the ceiling. If only the walls could talk. This bar has a full liquor assortment and local craft beer. Vanity was our wonderful bartender that evening. It was a perfect evening of local characters and story telling. Goods times here.

I have been a customer of Labert's Bar & Cafe for the last 5 years. Ownership changed just over a year ago. The menu has changed, some of my favorites left the menu: Rubin Sandwich, Salad with cranberries, walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette dressing and fresh made fruiit pies. There are still tasty items on the menu. My wife enjoyed and excellent chicken fried steak. This is a great place with delicious food but the service just sucks. We got put meals pretty quickly but after they gave us our meal we ordered 7 and 7 and crown and coke that never came and the waitress never came back to check on us we sat there for an hour before we finally got someone to bring us out bill

Have come here yearly for the past 3 years, and the quality has dropped tremendously, but prices have stayed the same. Got the fajitas and steak. The corn and beans were canned, steak tasted like it was cooked and kept warm to then serve, vegetables were barely roasted, and rice was flavorless. Warmed tortillas took 15 minutes to be served after the rest of the dish. Service left much to be desired, sodas and beers were completely flat despite being "canned," and waitress was nowhere to be seen for extended periods of time. ... read more
