I was told before any work was done that I would be notified if the estimate changed, and I was not. The total I was given after completion was higher, and Lamar said he didn’t have time for me to be childish when I asked why there was a discrepancy. Ultimately, Lamar settled for a total less than the initial estimate, but I think because he didn’t want me asking more questions. Something seems shady. I hope other people have a better experience.
Mr. Lamar and his team did an outstanding paint job on my rear panel on my Tesla. Great customer service and reasonable pricing on the work being performed. Highly recommended!
Took my Z3 here for a replacement of the (bolt on) rear 1/4. Within 6 months the paint started blistering. They took the car for another two weeks, and it came back nice and shiny, but with overspray EVERYWHERE. it took me two days with 303 cleaner and a scotchbrite pad to clean off the excess paint. Now, 2 years in the paint is still blistering. I thought of contacting Lamar yesterday as I'm a neighbor and drove by seeing a customer vehicle open to the elements (heavy rain).
