Wish I would've sued, this terrible human being put me on adult levels of aripiprazole as a child causing me to lose my hair and go through chemical induced psychosis. This woman should not have a medical license.
Yes, you WILL wait in the waiting room for Dr. Lam, even if you have the first appointment. That being said, I have had two other psychiatrists in the past and my experience is that I would go to those appointments, interact with the doctor, and when 15 minutes was up I was handed a script and ushered out the door. She should NOT be in this field.
Dr. Ing Lam is constantly late. Even if you are the first appointment of the day, expect to wait at least 45 minutes for her to even arrive at the office. She is not affiliated with any hospitals which is a bit disconcerting. If you have an emergency at night or during the weekend, there is no answering service and absolutely no way to contact her. You're basically searching for a physician and/or hospital on your own. If she's on vacation, there is no one that "covers" for her. Do your research
Average wait time was 90 mins PAST your scheduled appointment. That means you're sitting there for a hour and a half prior to being seen. My last appointment I waited a hour before I got up and walked out. I was on a boat load of medication that all needed her written refill scripts for me to continue using them. I haven't gotten one phone call asking if I am okay, have I found someone else to fill them. Nothing. One of the medications if discontinued can cause death. 3000mgs of Gabapentin daily
