Do not sleep on this place-- delicious, delicious food served by warm and smiling faces, clearly prepared with love. We got the veggie combo, chicken tibs, sambusa and Ethiopian coffee. Everything was really yummy. Thank you Lalibela :)
This was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I'll definitely be back. The service was phenomenal, and the menu had so many dishes I'd never seen before that I want to work my way through all of them. I have to highly recommend the lamb soup: deeply flavorful, well balanced, and the meat fell right off the bone. My boyfriend got the beef combo and it was delicious. Wow so nice to find Ethiopian food up here. I always ate in Berkeley or San Francisco for this food, now so glad it is up here. Nice people and great food <3
We loved Lalibela! We got veggie plates for our vegans/vegetarians and the meat combo for the meat eater. We were all so happy to eat healthy food that tastes amazing. Even our picky eater loved it!
