I would never see her again. Saw her once with my diagnosed autistic child she said “well I wouldn’t have even evaluated her”. After seeing a new caring neurologist. I realize how terrible this experience really was.
Her nurse practitioner is great, but Dr. Schexnayder was very dismissive and even mocked my concerns. She was closed minded and not easy to speak to. Once switching to a new neurologist, we were able to finally get a diagnosis and referral to a specialist that could help her. I would not recommend for out of the box or complicated cases.
My kids love her
She was very dismissive. Didn’t listen to anything I was telling her. Didn’t spend no time with my child whatsoever other than to check his reflexes. This process to have my son officially diagnosed with Autism has been long and complicated and she didn’t make anything easier. Honestly I prefer her PA over her any day.
