I had an extremely concerning experience at this hospital’s ER and feel obligated to share it. I presented with a known history of eosinophilic esophagitis and reported active symptoms, including vomiting and difficulty swallowing with a sensation of esophageal swelling. During that time, I vomited and was not assisted. I was left sitting in my own vomit and urine and was simply handed a towel to clean myself. I’m here for 3 hours. No one has spoken with me. The exam room is freezing. I’ve put my own fleece on to try to stay warm, as the blanket is insane.

UPDATE--- UNFORTUNATELY THE CATSCAN WITH CONTRAST THEY DID ON FEBRUARY 12, 2026 WAS DONE WITHOUT IMAGES. THEY MADE NO MENTION OF MY 10MM KIDNEY LESION. IT'S BEEN FIVE DAYS AND I'M STILL SUFFERING DEBILITATING CHEST PAIN AND SYMPTOMS. THE DIRECTOR OF THE ED REFUSES TO CALL ME BACK REGARDING THIS PROBLEM. THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD NO SOCIAL WORKER TO TALK WITH ME. IT'S COMPLETELY UNTRUE. EVERY HOSPITAL HAS A PATIENT LIAISON AND LCSW. They were very nice but the care was not sufficient. I have a deep fear of hospitals, which is called Nosocomephobia, and it’s something I’ve struggled with since March 2025. Unfortunately, I had a very difficult experience at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in March 2025, which greatly affected me. I spent three challenging days there, feeling mistreated and anxious. Great service and experience. I dislocated my shoulder and had to visit the ER over the holidays. This place was amazing. In and out within 30 minutes, including check-in, shoulder reduction, x-rays, and payment. Very efficient! Not to mention everyone was very kind and friendly (admin, nurse, & doctor). Thanks for taking care of me when I was literally "down."
