Excellent Auto Repair Business We've being dealing with Lakewood Auto for many years. No matter what problem we're having Chet and his crew can find it and fix it in excellent time. The prices are very competitive with other auto repair businesses. Only one time over the years has anything gone wrong with a repair and that was quickly fix to our satisfaction immediately. Lakewood Auto always stands behind it's repairs. I would recommend Lakewood Auto to anyone looking for auto repairs.
RecommendedI've gone to Lakewood for years and they have always been so good to me and my family. When the dealership tried to tell me I needed a whole new compressor, they were able to replace one small part and save me money. I can trust them to be honest and take care of my vehicles!
LAKEWOOD AUTO WRECKED MY CAR! Was having work done on my car after I hit a pothole....Lakewood put "new engine" in car "to fix car". Picked up and Cost was MUCH higher than quoted by Chet Dewitt. Basically $1000.00 Higher. Driving car home - WAS DOING SAME AS BEFORE "NEW ENGINE" (ended up being a catalytic converter problem AND...LAKEWOOD PUT A BAD FUEL INJECTOR IN ENGINE. ) Car towed and towed, after work done by Lakewood. LAKEWOOD AUTO WRECKED MY CAR! DID WORK ON THE CAR AND IT HAD TO BE TOWED AND TOWED. REFUSED TO PROVIDE NAME OF "EMPLOYEE" WHO WRECKED CAR. REFUSED TO PROVIDE SHOP INSURANCE INFORMATION. DID NOT INFORM ME THEY HAD WRECKED MY CAR. TRIED TO GLUE, SILICONE AND SPRAY PAINT DAMAGE in effort to hide damage they had done!. I now have major engine problems, exhaust problems, frame damage, interior damage, paint damage ...you name it. The office staff was very helpful, straightforward and honest about what repairs I needed and what my options were. They also took the time to explain the repairs to me. The mechanics were helpful as well. I will use this shop again.
Lakewood Auto is the ONLY place I have trusted enough to take care of my vehicles since the early 1990's. Chet, the owner is extremely fair and trustworthy. He always sees to it that I am completely satisfied with the work that has been done. Have never met a more honest person or one who works harder to take care of his customers.
