I have been purchasing fish and product from Lakeway Tilapia for over 3 years. I am an Aquaponics Farmer and Blue Fin is was I use. I have been so thankfull to the staff at Lakeway and their quality of fish for years. I just placed another order and will continue on ordering from them. They know there business. The first order was right on time. I kept one of the fish as a pet and named him Oscar. Oscar got to be 22" inches long and over 10 LBS. He passed away this past summer. He served this farm well. 0 Stars for Lakeway Tilapia!!!! Where do I start, so many things to address! First of all I bought a breeding colony of the Tilapia . Not a colony. Per Lakeway tilapia‘s website you cannot have two males and four females it doesn’t work. But yet this place decides to send me two males and four females. They also post that a biologist carefully observes the colony, but yet doesn’t sex them? Second they sent me three fish which happened to be my females that are damaged and sick. Horrible customer service. I called two weeks after placing my order because I had not received my fish yet. The lady was rude and could not tell me when my fish would be shipped. Looking at reviews on others sites, it looks like I’m not the only one. Don’t do business with these people!
