Doctor is explicitly listed, by name, location, and phone number, in the Parkland Health Plan directory as accepting Medicaid. Called to make an appointment and was told “he’s not accepting any patients with medicaid”. Tells me all I need to know about how much he actually cares for patients that he doesn’t even bother notifying Medicaid that he no longer accepts it.
I would not want anyone else to deliver my babies. I had my girls pretty close in age, so I was always there and Dr. Cowart truly made me feel like family. Marissa is always so sweet, and Mary is probably my daughter’s favorite person to see. Would highly recommend them to anyone who asks!
After coming here for years and trusting both doctors with each of my babies I won’t be returning. I had an awful experience with the new staff. They are rude and unprofessional.
