I just spent all day here with my son, this place is great water is clean and staff is awesome. Pls don’t listen to these bad reviews it was really fun and great place for kids.

Looking for a place to become our new "regular" spot for camping, usually a week or so every summer. Decided to stay out here for a 1 night trial run to see if it would be a good fit for a longer trip and it had pros and cons. All the other campers were super friendly, and the workers and owner were really nice also. There weren't a ton of mosquitoes, which I was afraid of with it being on the water. Quiet, calm campground that is family friendly. Nice beach area on the lake with specific corded off swimming sections. Big campsite with plenty of room. The only thing is the bathhouse did not have locks on the stall doors for the toilets as well as the water in the showers was ice cold. If the bathhouse had locks to ensure toilet privacy and even lukewarm water, this place would get a 5/5!
Great family experience! Lots of fun amenities. Only downside is that most primitive camp sites are in steep hills and make it somewhat difficult to set up. For those of us who don’t own RV’s or campers, we’re left with little to no options.
