The place needs renovation, the electrical installation is insufficient and the rooms do not have facilities for cooking or washing clothes.
I made a booking via air bnb for 19 Lakeview plaza motel. Unfortunately due to covid lockdown we were unable to travel on the booked dates. This owner seems to be extremely non accomodating in this situation. Originally I was told I will get 100% refund but apparently after discussion with the owner I don’t have that option anymore. He will only do a credit note if not just cancel and he gets to keep the money 😬. Whilst the restaurant within is good the owner of this development has created a blight on Jindabyne. You will notice steel reinforcement protruding from the top of the building and a general unfinished look. Numerous examples of unsatisfactory construction are evident, the place looks like a ghetto, the various sub lessees cursed by the poor presentation of the building. The owner should hang his head in shame.
My family and I were meant to be staying at 1 Lakeview Plaza next week, but had to cancel due to Covid lockdowns. The day my husband and I booked the accomodation we contacted Henley Property to double check the Covid cancellation Policy for the property and were advised that if there was a lockdown in either our region of residence or their region, a 100% refund would be applied.
