We had an accident and had to go to the ER. We chose Lakeview ER for its proximity to us. We checked in quickly. We had to wait an hour before the RN filled out that intake form. Then another hour before we were taken back. Then another 45 minutes before we were seen by the provider. I asked the nurse about after 2 hours and 15 minutes to see how much longer. He seemed indifferent and un-empathetic, just said a provider would come in whenever they could. He said there were patients that were more important than us. I underst... read more
Do not go to this hospital if you are a woman in pain. The pain bias is very active here and they will do the absolute bare minimum to help you. I left in tears with the treatment I received. Please ladies do not go here. It will only create more medical trauma for you.
Update: I received a call early in the in the morning from Ashley to make sure I have my follow-up appointment all set up. Very pleasant and informative. She made sure I was on the doctors list for tomorrow. Thanks again, Ashley, and to the whole crew, who helped me. I have to say they have such lovely people working the front. Very sweet and helpful. Stay clear of here if you have an actual emergency, OR if you want to avoid catching COV*D! They have ZERO safety protocols for people testing positive. Sitting in an ER coughing , sneezing, crying in pain for almost 2hours is unacceptable. At least have masks, Kleenex, seating available and give people space.
