Worst experience I have had with a builder. - The standard purchase agreements are quite inflexible and hostile towards the buyer - Customer service is all but non-existent - Overpriced for what you get - Shoddy workmanship and very difficult to get things fixed - Once the ink has dried on the purchase agreement, they will nickel and dime you all the way to closing day Avoid at all cost!
We bought our first ever home in Canada. We were excited but all our excitement went down as builder’ appliance vendor got bankrupt and now we are living in house with no appliances more than a week now. No home made food, no laundry no central air conditioning. Lakeview team have failed to provide committed appliances and alternative more than week. And have to cancel house warming functions. Closed on 28 April and will mention date till we get in next review.
I purchased a brand-new home that is 18 months old, yet the hot water tank has leaked twice already. The supplier told me to just install an extension to fix it temporarily. When I contacted the builder, I was told that they have nothing to do with it because our contract is with the supplier, even though the builder was the one who installed the equipment in the first place.
