The security deposit return process here has been frustrating. Ohio law requires landlords to provide receipts for any deductions within 30 days, which didn’t happen. Before moving out, I took care of touch-ups and repairs, which management acknowledged during the final walk-through, even promising a prompt deposit return. Unfortunately, that assurance wasn’t kept. Future tenants beware.
