I took my car to Lakeview based on the great Google reviews, and they definitely lived up to the reputation. I brought in my Ford Escape, which needed an oil change, a differential fluid change, brake pad and rotor and most importantly, diagnosis for a strange noise coming from the back. My experience with Lakeview Auto was a complete disaster from start to finish. I brought my car in for an engine swap and was quoted $4000 after providing all the major parts myself. The first red flag was a total lack of communication. Weeks went by with no updates. When I finally got the car back, I was handed a bill for nearly double the quote ($7100, which they reduced to ~$6100). They never called to authorize the extra hours, despite promising they would.
