Ed at Lakeside Transmission spent alot of time with me on the phone and helped me answer alot of questions I had even thought he was busy. I really appreciated it and will be bringing my truck there for any work needed. Thanks Ed!
These guys are fantastic. Very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. My service truck was shifting funny, we took it for a ride and while diagnosing he explained everything. I won’t go anywhere else.
From their website, "We provide expert repairs on all makes and models and would like the opportunity to let our experience, honesty and integrity work" I drove 30 minutes to ask for an appointment to change the ATF in my daughter's Mazda 3, to be told rather bluntly that "we don't work on foreign cars”. So " all makes and models" means something else to these folks. FWIW, the mess and debris around the place and in the office makes me think I escaped a bad experience anyway. Clearly, NOT a place I'd recommend.
The owner was an incredible help to me. He kept the diagnosis real and didn't try to tell me extra. He even showed me transmission and walked me through the parts and explained why it was all good. Highly recommend this shop.
Owner and employees were very honest and helpful. Was thinking of buying a used van and the shifting of trans raised a big red flag. They put the scanner on it and even took a quick drive saying not to walk but to run from this one. Even WITHOUT a service charge. THANK YOU, you guys. probably saved me $3,000 - $6,000 or more. Will definitely call them if I need any work in future.
