Installer named Aderian Moore, turned off our gas for a non safety violation. Never told us that we had 30 days to fix the problem, just refused to turn the gas back on. Another service man came in, told us that is was a two minute fix and not a safety violation, the gas should not have been kept off. The same dude (aderian)showed up at our house the week before, no appointment, no I.D., and was upset and rude that he wasn't let into the house or was told not to shut the gas off at that time. Embrace scheduled a meter exchange. The technician came took pictures checked out the furnace and hot water tank. He then proceeded to change the unit. He completed the work and then told me there was a code infraction on a pipe and he was not able to change it and therefore could not turn the gas back on. If he was professional he should have known this before changing the meter. But I guess you don't get paid unless you change the meter.

I had an unpleasant experience with a technician named Matt who serviced our gas meter on April 15th in Belleville, ON. Our street is currently under construction, and access to our back yard and gas meter has been routine. We have two larger gates: a larger locked gate (used to secure some boats) and a smaller gate on the other side of the house that provides easy walk-through access around the house to the gas meter.
