Our cat knocked one of our Martz lamps onto the floor, shattering it. Lakeside Pottery in Delaware did museum quality work in repairing it! We are very pleased! They did such exceptional work that we can’t tell which lamp had been repaired. Can you tell? Morty & Patty were extremely easy to work with and obviously know what they’re doing. We can’t recommend them enough!
- Update - 1. Lakeside has left a voicemail insisting this review be removed. I've uploaded my phone's transcript of their message. 2. I've uploaded an invoice for a $38.40 return shipping charge, alongside Lakeside's original public response that stated they provided "free round-trip shipping," which they have since silently revised. Due to the violation of our shipping agreement, I filed a dispute against Lakeside and successfully had the $38.40 charge reversed. 3. I cannot recommend this studio more highly. They repaired an heirloom piece (my grandmother's mixing bowl) and I could not be more pleased. Highest marks for the quality of their work, turnaround time, professionalism, artistry -- everything!
During renovation construction at my home, a unique stoneware horse sculpture was knocked off a table onto a tile floor by a contractor. I was devastated as I'd had the piece for decades and it was irreplaceable to me. As I looked at the dozens and dozens of shattered pieces, I briefly wondered if it could be repaired. I thought it a longshot but my google search found Lakeside Pottery and I'm so glad. Secondly, I've uploaded a photo showing Lakeside silently changed their response from "free round-trip shipping" to "free return shipping" without acknowledging their original error.
