My family and I stayed at Lakeside Waterfront Suites in Chelan. Despite the misleading name, the property is not actually directly on the water—there is no private beach or dedicated lake access for guests. A public city park sits entirely between the motel and the water, meaning you are essentially staying next to a busy public facility rather than a private waterfront property. For me, it was a bad experience. We have been coming to this hotel on vacation with our family for many years, but this time we received very poor service. The receptionist was very rude and unfriendly, and the night-shift security guard had a very bad attitude. We felt that we were treated differently because we are Hispanic from the very first day we arrived. These employees should receive customer service and courtesy training.

We have been coming to this hotel for over six years, and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. The treatment we received from both the front old ladies office staff and the security team was completely unacceptable. Instead of treating us with respect, they were rude, dismissive, and made us feel like we were not welcome.
