The view is beautiful, the room.....not so much. Took my adult daughter for a weekend getaway. The screen to the screen door patio was ripped 3 quarters down the sliding door, the shower head was very bad, killed 4 spiders inside the room in 2 nights, and the clerk had to come fix the TV since it would not connect to their cable provider. The location is great and the town of Clear Lake was wonderful. Neither my daughter or I are sure if we would stay at Lakeside Inn again
Stayed in king room with patio. The room was right next to the restaurant. Got very noisy. Hard to sit outside with the air units ramping up. The room wasn't cleaned very well. there was chip crumbs under the coffee table. I was wearing new white socks that after a short time looked like a I wore them outside. The lake view was beautiful at sunset,that seems to be the only plus. Sorry.
Don't stay here. Our room is right behind the cafe. We cannot even open our curtain and sliding glass door, because people are sitting right there at the restaurant 1 foot away. Noisy from the piped in music( Boom Boom Boom)
