Michael and Jane Larsen purchased Lakeside Carpet in 1995 when it was located on Lake Belle Taine. In 2000 they purchased Froggy's and moved Lakeside to it's current location on Hwy 34 at the Dorset Corner.

Our recent experience with the folks at Lakeside Carpet was one of our more pleasant shopping experiences of late. Unlike the big "box" stores, the customer service was great. Mike came out and measured our house the day after we first stopped in the store. He was on time and we had an estimate in hand the next day. Jane helped us with the selection of our flooring and had a great eye for color and was VERY patient with us while we looked through the 100's of samples they have on hand. I attended the Lakeside Carpet store recently and had the privilege to meet both of the owners Jane and Michael Larsen and their sweet friendly dog Indy. The store was open clean and I could see exactly what I wanted with the direction and help of both of the owners. They gave me time to look around to see all the different products that they had and when it came time to choosing they were there to answer efficiently all my questions.
