We had our tires swapped to winters at the beginning of November here. Right after Christmas, we planned to drive to Alberta. We noticed a little bit of a sliding issue on the car right after we had the tires changed when the roads were wet in town, but didn't think too much of it at the time. Frank & Laurie are always reasonable and kind, would recommend to anyone I know.
Frank helped me out when my truck had blown a coolant hose on the way to Kelowna, I pulled to the beach and walked over to the shop where I asked for some help, he came with me with no issue to come over and try and asses the issue and offered to have me bring the truck into the shop. I ended up figuring out where the leak was and what hose I needed and he gave the piece to me free of charge and wished me luck aswell as passed along knowledge. Very great experience would highly recommend these guys if you need work done!
I don’t come to this shop often, and I don’t get my car fixed here — I’m a mechanic myself and work on project cars. But the few times I’ve visited, I’ve had questions or needed advice, and the owner has always taken the time to help me out, even when he was busy. It’s not easy to find someone so willing to share their knowledge and support others in the trade. Really appreciate his attitude and willingness to help — definitely a place worth respecting.
