Bad Experience for Seriously Injuried Dog I took one of my "hog dogs" to this clinic over the weekend with some serious injuries. The girls took him to the back, very polite and nice I must say, but before I could even get the paper work filled out with his name on it the vet came out and the first words I heard from her were $2,000 minimum and no guarantee he'll make it, (in the door 5 minutes if that) Now I've been hunting for 20 plus years and have seen some really bad hog dog injuries, and have had dogs in just as bad of... read more
Great Service From the time we walked in until we left, everyone was friendly and helpful. The staff all seemed knowledgeable and I appreciated that.
Great place! This 24 hour emergency vet clinic is great! The doctors there are some of the nicest people I've ever met! On top of that, my cat needed emergency surgery and their cost was $1,000 less then the quote I got from Iowa State.
Sick Kitten We took our 3mo. kitten because it was a sunday and he had quit eating and was having diarrhea. They charged 755 dollars and said all the tests were negative. We took him to our regular vet the next day and they gave him some antibiotics and he was fine and only charged 75 dollars. When i looked at the charges er vet charged us 110 dollars for CPR!!!! My husband picked kitty up and just paid it. They didnt perform CPR !! But when i called and questioned they refused to talk about it! The bill was already paid....... read more
Reiley Lives! My cat had a growth on his neck about the size of a raquetteball and it had doubled in size in about 3 months. My vet said the growth was something he would not touch because he suspected it was anchored to the jugular vein. We were just waiting for Reiley's time but it was too difficult for me to make the "call" so my vet suggested a consult with a surgeon to help with the decision or find another outcome. He suggested Lakeshore Specialists. I didn't know what to expect but I knew I had to give it a try. Dr. B... read more
Great Emergency vet! Took the time to answer my questions. Patient, understanding, half the cost of other emergency vets. Dr. Gomez rocks!
Thanks for your help I recently took my cat of 11 years to the clinic. He had been attacked by my neighbors bulldogs. The care and compassion that I received from Dr Ray and the staff was suck a comfort in this mostt sadden time. Unfortunately, Snowball did not make it. His wounds were too extensive, but the clinic helped sooooo much. Thanks to Dr Ray adn the staff
DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS HOSPITAL - "Right Away" They Want to Euthanize Your Animal. Took My Cat there as she was experiencing some dehydration and weakness a she had lost alot of weight as she was under alot of Stress with a New Kitten in our House. I didn't even talk to the Doctor - and right away they took me into this Comforting Room so the Young Male (Foreign) Doctor could tell me to Euthanize My Cat. I was Furious as I never expected to hear that ! I told him, You haven't even Offered Me any other Options. But "... read more
Good care The staff was very friendly, caring and sensitive to our situation. The doctor took the time to explain what was happening with our dog's cancer and explained her treatments, what they would do and the side effects. She was brutally honest in her diagnosis so we knew approximately how long we had left with her. They did everything they could for her.
