I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LAKESHORE MANOR!! Absolutely LOVE all of the fun activities that encourage resident participation! Lakeshore has been a good fit for my mothers needs at this point in her dementia. The activities have been just the distraction she needs to prevent her from being lonely, which is what leads to her crisis moments. Overall, she is usually in good spirits and appears well cared for.
More caregivers--to few for residents. New nursing director who cares for residents/families. Putting resident's care as top priority not marketing. Fewer activities and more direct patient care so staff does not get stressed. More attention to housekeeping and meals. Recognizing the needs of their residents with dementia.
