i got an iv in my arm and im full of morphine and this lady kicks me and other people out to the waiting room for no apparent reason when they havent told me i can leave yet. ive been here for 6 hours and all i had was abdominal pain which was over after the first 3-4 hours

At 11:55 PM, a nurse told me the doctor said I would be seen within 2–3 hours. Then at 2 AM, another nurse told me I was second-to-last to be seen and likely wouldn’t be seen until noon the next day. When I mentioned what the previous nurse and doctor had said, I was told they had both already left at midnight. Being in severe pain is already exhausting enough without feeling like the staff are just saying whatever is convenient in the moment.

My father’s hip fracture surgery was very well taken care of. The surgeon, anesthesiologist, internal doctors and team members were very supportive and helpful. Special appreciation to the Nurses in charge, their assistants and the préposées. Connie, Kandra, Jocelyne and many others that I forgot the names provided an excellent professional service. A fractured bone in the foot is not considered an emergency here. Waiting room was full, around 30 people were waiting none of us have seen the doctor for 12 hours. After 13 hours waiting, a nurse told me they have given my case the lowest priority. She said meaning I might wait for 24-28 hours and not see the doctor so I left.
