Never having been in LAHP, we arrived with our 13-year-old cat, expecting a business looking to extract as much money as possible from our bank account. What we got, instead, was a group of friendly, caring medical people who just wanted the best result for our pet. The surgeon, Dr. Bichot, after a careful examination, clearly explained the issue and our options, without trying to steer our decision. We'll definitely look to them if the need arises in the future.
I brought my cat in because she hadn't eaten for 3 days. They did a number of tests and placed him on gabapentin (sedative). When I visited my cat, it was heartbreaking. His chest was covered in vomit and his eyes had a dark film around them. He was lethargic and so quiet, I had to put my head close to him to hear him purring. She was incredibly kind, caring, compassionate, and helpful throughout the entire experience. Even when we spoke over the phone, Suzy took the time to listen to our concerns and make sure we felt supported. She was patient, understanding, and went above and beyond to help us during what was a stressful time. Her warm and caring attitude truly made a difference.
I had to bring my cat here for an emergency on the weekend. I was seen right away. The staff is very kind and friendly. They are very accommodating and I got great service here.
