Adam has done a couple of projects for us and did a great job. The most recent was repairing a collapsing dining room subfloor that had been improperly altered by a previous contractor for the former owner of our home. It became apparent when the flooring started to "sag" when walked upon. It would have collapsed if we kept walking on it! He repaired the previous poor workmanship and the floor is now solid. We have hired Adam Lake of Lake's General Contracting on two occasions. The first project was to repair two chimney stacks which had rotten wood and were leaking (before and after photos below); the second project was to cut, miter and install new interior trim board around a newly-installed skylight, which required working at a height while inside the narrow skylight well. I purchased a somewhat large outdoor catio that needed to be assembled and installed outside a second story window in my home, something I could never do on my own. I was thrilled when Adam suggested that he would be able to do it in approximately 3 hours at $80.00 per hour, even though that seemed unlikely, having had a lot of experience in putting things together.
