Right in the middle about writing this review. Sit tight if you are ready for a long story. I'm a mentally il teen that also suffers from physical struggles like constant fainting, anemia, and more. The first time I got in was an ER visit. It was a hit n run with a full on pickup truck. Sideswiped me, and I was skinned. Knees damaged, elbow, back, etc. It was about a five hour wait with a horrible male nurse. Rough, rude, snarky, and barely payed any attention to my extreme needs. Mind you, it wasn't a busy night. Multimillion dollar hospital built after Local Mill explosion. The town of Burns Lake were all happy but now it sits empty. No good Dr’s or nurses. A lot of racism against indigenous peoples. Indigenous people get placed in Ambulance Bay room. The wait is ridiculous. Not a big town but it’s worse hospital. We get 2 weeks of other nurses coming to work there and they are very nice. Downstairs receptionist are always annoyed when indigenous walk in. Yet Burns Lake has 6 surrounding indigenous communities. Racism will never get... read more
Took my brother in . Went straight in . The care was great.
Dr. Annandale is an incredible doctor. Amazing with kids and adults. We are so lucky to have him here in Burns Lake.
