My experience at this beautiful place was quickly turned upside down after I got to see how some of the male counselors actually were. I’d like to try to keep this short and sweet but there’s a lot to get into. I was there for over three months and I got to see some pretty shitty things mainly from a couple counselors and the claims I’m about to get into are nothing I would ever fabricate. It was a life changing experience. All office staff,house staff and counselors along with owner are great. They truly care.

Key things that set Lake Place apart from the others: 1. Fishing/Outdoors: having access to the lake with paddle boats or fish houses 6 days a week. It's a great bass/northern/crappie lake! I caught many 4-5 lbs! They buy any bait you want! 2. 90 days program generally - but you can stay longer if you need to. Some stay almost a year. 3. Woodshop. Yup.
