Brought my son in because he had been throwing up for a few hours. He has type 1diabetes . He was very dehydrated. His blood sugar was 107 when brought in, but was going higher as time passed. It got 178, I told them he needed insulin. They insisted that he just needed more fluids. He was still throwing up. They gave zofran . Didn't help. So they gave compozine, he had adverse reaction. Nursing staff was excellent during my stay. Had appendicitis. They were so cordial, kind and on top of everything. These nurses work long hours-12 hour shifts. They deal with alot of difficult and different situations that would make most for folks bale. We need to love our nurses better!!!

Incompetent provider scratched 2yo daughter’s eye with plastic PH strip kept using the back side and pointy end to get a PH - didn’t use the side with the swab and literally jambed it between her eyelids, at an angle, so the plastic corner scratched her eye. They aslo tried several times after to catch a tear with the back side of the strip.

Worst hospital ever. Avoid this ER if you want to be treated with any kind of intelligence or care.
