Stay away from Provident Bank in Toms River. My parents went to close their CD on 6/19, but because the bank was closed for Juneteenth, my parents had to take care of their CD on 6/20. They had a 10 day grace period to do so, and the 19th was day 10. The bank did not take the holiday into consideration in terms of the 10 day grace period. This was never stated on the CD renewal reminder. Because of this, my parents acquired a $450 penalty fee which upset them quite a bit. From the moment you walk in the door, you're family. Danielle was every bit efficient, knowledgeable, and professional as she is beautiful and charming. The entire process of opening an account felt more like a coffee house conversation, than a foray into joining a financial institution. Chris was on his game as well. Love Lakeland Bank! Louanne was so helpful and generous with her time.I was treated like a very important customer with patience and professionalism.She has great sense of humor too. I love my new bank.
