On October 24, 2019 took a walk through Lake Wilderness Arboretum. I strongly recommend visiting here before the color fades.. The Arboretum is a place of peace and beauty, no matter what the season.
A Maple Valley gem with a dedicated group of garden lovers. They have created an area of constant discovery and engagement in nature. From native plants on the Tribal Trail to the sweet scents of the Smith Mosman Azalea garden and the splendor of blooms throughout the year, the Lake Wilderness Arboretum is a serene place of joy.
Beautiful garden. Lots of paths. Good map to find specific displays.
Used to live in Maple Valley. Used to volunteer at the LW Arboretum. Used to have lots of fun doing the sales. Sure miss all of that and the great folks who keep it running.
Very beautiful place to play, picnic and take pictures. I would recommend it.
I love the arboretum! I'm always taking photos here, so many different backgrounds look within the space! I also love bringing my kids there so they can run around and explore!
My son (7), daughter (8) and I walked from home, we live near by. We had such a great time finding Maple Valley rocks and stumbling upon a library in a tree such a neat find my kids were amazed. We thought of new project with painting more rocks and hiding for others. All and all it was a wonderful experience and we'll definitely visit again soon!
Had a blast. Went for ABBA concert and movie. Walked around and found my first painted rock. I will be going back...
