Trail is Horribly maintained. Rambles and prickly plants everywhere. Trail is difficult to follow because at times it is hard to find. The informative signs are all worn out and sitting on the benches, all in the sun, is impossible cause of the pickles. I can tell the rangers are not designated for clearing of the trail because obviously some new politican cut funding. The rest of the campground is excellent & well taken care of! See maintenence & hoststaking care of it.
We stayed in the cotton tail cabin it was very relaxing. The veiw was incredible from our front porch, with a porch swing. Perfect!
The hosts in charge of this beautiful campground are probably the worst hosts of over 100 campgrounds/parks I’ve ever stayed at. The showers are the most disgusting 🤢 things I’ve ever had to use. Maybe if you can’t afford a pressure washer to clean the walls/floors try using a mop to remove the black slime.
I like it it's quiet and pleasant, but I should mention the mosquitos can be very unplesant.
