I have been more than satisfied with my care at lake Superior dental in Carlton. My dental care has been exceptional. I look forward to seeing Lori when I check in. She is efficient and knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond to help clients as well as her coworkers. She is a bright spot in an otherwise uncomfortable situation. She is a very special lady and I know for sure I will be well taken care of.
The hygienists and dentists are great. The front desk lady is terrible. She’s rude, can never get my name right (even though it’s on the paperwork) and the only way for me to make an appointment is for there to be a cancellation. And then if I’m the available for the cancellation time or don’t call back fast enough she gives it to someone else. She won’t let me make my appointment while I’m there either. I’m kind of at a loss and the next closest place to take my insurance is in deer wood, an hour and a half away!

Went in for a dental emergency twice. It is so difficult to nearly impossible to find anyone in Duluth who takes state insurance for dental. Twice was told by the same dentist it was nothing and maybe I was grinding my teeth. The entire left side of my face was in pain both times from my head to my neck. Then the blister of abscess formed on my gum and has been popping shortly after those visits.
