If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Living here has been an absolute nightmare. The management team is completely unprofessional and unresponsive. Every maintenance issue I’ve reported — from moisture in the carpet (which caused rust on my bed frame) to a broken outdoor furnace unit that made my electric bill skyrocket over $1,000 — has been ignored or delayed for months. The management, specifically Renee, definition of power trip. It’s sad because they often target families and nit pick on families who have kids that play outside, ride bikes etc., they make people uncomfortable and unable to enjoy their yard, can’t play outside or your guaranteed Renee will send some ridiculous message saying yours kids aren’t playing right or violating some rules that they make up. The management at this community is extremely difficult to deal with. Residents receive constant group text messages complaining about minor issues, anything from children’s toys in the yard to kids simply playing outside, riding bikes, or being in the street. It’s very clear that families are not welcome here. If you’re a single adult who prefers to keep to yourself, you may fit in, but families are treated as a nuisance. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to make this review for the safety and concerns of others. My husband and I lived in two different trailers in Lake Sherman. Both ended up having mold. The first one, I ended up in the hospital with severe health issues due to the mold and the second one, we had to move out and lost everything we owned due to it.
