Welcome to Village of No Fun, where country living meets crazy rules. Fire pits? Forget it. The manager's on a power trip, and rudeness is her superpower. Do yourself a solid, and village-hop elsewhere.
My girlfriend moved out with minor damages to the carpets in two bedrooms and was charged 1500 dollars to repaint, and 1800 dollars to replace the carpet as well as an extra months rent after being a resident in good standing for years. Do not rent from these people, they will renovate the place on your dollar and send it all to collections.
Place has dark, cold, and reptilian energy. They struggle to exert power over the residents about any/everything. Send constant messages to the community complaining about children playing, riding bikes, families gathering, or using their yards. It gives you an experience that feels like light vs. dark.
I rented here for 4 years. Its a great place to call home, the price you pay on rent for the square footage you get is very affordable, and the homes are nice. The community is very quiet, and located around farmland. I can count on one hand how many times I was woken up by loud noises over the 4 years.
