I had my mammogram scheduled through my lake regional pcp. Checked my insurance to confirm it was in-network. Received a denial of my claim from UHC stating Lake Regional Imaging Partners is NOT in network. As a consumer I am disappointed that I was supposed to know Lake Regional Health Systems and Lake Regional Imaging Center are not associated or why Lake Regional is even listed as an in-network provider specifically for Mammograms. My wife came here for a mammogram. She had a good experience and all the necessary information was obtained. Two months later, we received a bill. The insurance company did not pay. When I call the billing company (yes, it appears to be outsourced), they are completely useless to the point that the person on the phone won't call the insurance company, even though the insurance company asked me to give them a specific number to call. I guess they don't want to get paid?
