Prior to becoming a patient, I had regular dental cleanings and routine dental work, and it had only been about six months since my previous checkup. At my first visit, I was told I needed a filling. When I returned for the procedure, the dentist explained that the decay was moderate to severe and advised me that if I developed any sensitivity, I should come back because I might need a root canal and crown.
